Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Lewisville, Texas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting critical month-end close activities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and ensuring timely completion of financial processes
Perform detailed reconciliations of balance sheets, cash accounts, and bank transactions to maintain accuracy
Ensure proper recording of monthly accruals and assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports
Manage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation schedules and related reconciliations
Provide support for general ledger accounting tasks, including account reconciliations and adjustments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Utilize accounting software such as Microsoft D365 to streamline and enhance financial processes
Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to support decision-making
Maintain meticulous attention to detail while working under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with demonstrated expertise in general ledger and reconciliations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to handle intermediate-level functions
Experience with Microsoft D365 or similar ERP systems is highly preferred
Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting and depreciation management
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting

Nice to have:

Background in manufacturing accounting or similar industries is a plus
CPA certification is a strong advantage
