Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Russellville, Arkansas. In this role, you will oversee critical accounting functions, including monthly closings, payroll processing, and financial analysis. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Job Responsibility:

Perform monthly accounting close procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
Process payroll accurately, ensuring all withholding taxes and deductions are recorded
Prepare monthly payroll accruals and manage fixed asset accounting
Monitor daily cash flow and conduct balance sheet account reconciliations
Collaborate with business units to ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies and provide support for specialized requests
Analyze financial results, including trends, benchmarks, and performance metrics
Assist with quarterly reviews and testing alongside internal and external partners
Drive improvements in accounting and reporting processes through automation
Provide consolidated profit and loss statements and balance sheet flux analysis for management
Coordinate and execute special projects as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, with demonstrated attention to detail
Strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Knowledge of month-end close procedures and journal entries
