Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Russell Springs, Kentucky. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial operations and accounting principles. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of tasks, including payroll management, reconciliations, and oversight of accounts payable and receivable.

Job Responsibility:

Manage payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate payments to employees
Perform treasury functions, including cash management and bank reconciliations
Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable operations to maintain financial accuracy
Prepare and review journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards
Conduct month-end close procedures and ensure financial reports are completed on time
Reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Analyze general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation for all transactions
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and reporting
Monitor and review organizational payments to ensure proper authorization and processing

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
Proficiency in month-end close processes and financial reporting
Strong understanding of general ledger operations and journal entries
Demonstrated ability to perform account and bank reconciliations
Expertise in managing payroll systems and processes
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
