Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in New York, New York. In this role, you will oversee key financial processes and ensure accuracy in accounting, reporting, and reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in NetSuite and a strong background in financial management to support the company's operational and strategic goals.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage monthly accounting tasks and reporting for various corporate entities, including consolidations
  • Collaborate with finance and investment teams to allocate expenses and create detailed monthly expense reports
  • Process accounts payable and expense reimbursements, ensuring all invoices are accurately recorded and payments are completed on time
  • Monitor receivables and ensure timely collections
  • Conduct weekly reconciliations of bank transactions to maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with tax-related reporting and compliance
  • Oversee cash management activities, including monitoring credit lines and calculating associated interest and fees
  • Support the preparation of the company budget and forecasting processes
  • Handle ad-hoc financial projects as needed to support organizational objectives

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Proficiency in NetSuite and other financial management tools
  • Solid understanding of month-end close procedures and account reconciliation
  • Experience with bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams
