Job Description:

This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, and supporting month-end close processes. The ideal Sr. Accountant candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of GAAP and STAT principles.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion
Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger
Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed
Monitor adherence to GAAP and STAT accounting standards in all financial processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues and improve processes
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for audits and internal reviews
Assist with the preparation of financial reports for management review

Requirements:

Proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger management
Strong proficiency in preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations
Expertise in bank reconciliation and resolving financial discrepancies
Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and STAT accounting standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
CPA required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
