We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Seymour, Indiana. As this is a Contract to permanent position, it offers an excellent opportunity to grow your career while contributing to a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices and the ability to manage complex financial reconciliations with precision and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all financial reporting
Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Conduct bank reconciliations and intercompany accounting
Monitor fixed assets and maintain tax compliance records
Utilize major ERP systems to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency
Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and other financial reviews
Develop and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems to enhance operational effectiveness

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience within the manufacturing industry
Strong understanding of GAAP, tax compliance, and fixed asset accounting
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel
ERP system experience is a must
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
Outstanding organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities effectively
Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
