Job Description:

A client of ours is looking for a Senior Accountant for a contract role. This role will be responsible for supporting key accounting functions, maintaining financial accuracy, and assisting with audit processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of general accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Perform account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
Provide audit support, including preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
Support general accounting activities such as journal entries, month-end close processes, and financial reporting
Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
Assist with maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
7+ years of accounting experience
Experience with account reconciliations and audit preparation
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
Experience supporting audits
