Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, you will oversee critical financial operations, including multi-currency consolidations and intercompany eliminations, while managing a small team. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to produce accurate financial reports in a fast-paced, international environment.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data
Oversee multi-currency consolidations and intercompany eliminations for global operations
Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages and management reports for stakeholders
Supervise and support two direct reports, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment
Ensure compliance with financial standards and conduct audits, including DCAA requirements
Utilize Workday and QuickBooks Platinum systems to streamline financial processes
Collaborate with international teams to navigate language barriers and ensure effective communication
Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect accurate and current financial information
Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and reporting
Partner with leadership to support strategic financial planning initiatives

Requirements:

Proven experience in managing month-end close processes and general ledger oversight
Strong knowledge of multi-currency consolidations and intercompany eliminations required
Familiarity with financial reporting standards and audit procedures, including DCAA
Proficiency in Workday and QuickBooks Platinum systems
Excellent communication skills in English
Ability to work effectively with international teams and navigate cultural differences
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
