Job Description:

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Senior Accountant to join our finance team. You won't just be 'crunching numbers'; you'll be a key player in ensuring our financial integrity, streamlining our month-end processes, and providing the insights that drive our strategic decisions. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of GAAP, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable narratives for leadership.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and timely
Oversee ledger maintenance, prepare complex journal entries, and perform high-level account reconciliations
Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations
Identify inefficiencies in current accounting workflows and implement automated solutions to enhance departmental productivity
Provide guidance and review the work of junior accounting staff to ensure professional growth and data accuracy
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and perform monthly variance analysis to explain 'the why' behind the numbers

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred)
CPA or CMA designation is highly preferred
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior-level role
Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Macros)
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics)
Strong communication skills, a proactive 'problem-solver' mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
