Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role involves managing financial activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies. You will play a key role in supporting financial operations and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and track daily cash flow activities, including monitoring bank account transactions
Prepare and present detailed financial reports to support cash forecasting and provide insights on the company’s financial health
Enforce company policies related to financial documentation and ensure proper accounting practices are followed
Reconcile cash and accounts receivable to maintain accurate financial records
Coordinate with banks for account management, including opening and closing accounts
Provide guidance to clinic staff regarding collections and cash-related processes
Address and resolve accounting-related issues submitted through internal ticketing systems
Train employees on expense reporting procedures, review submissions, and process reports using the designated software
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual audits, as well as preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts
Collaborate with the Controller to draft and refine financial presentations for both internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
a relevant certification is a plus
Proven experience with month-end close processes and general ledger management
Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries
Strong skills in account and bank reconciliations
Familiarity with expense reporting software and auditing procedures
Ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring accuracy and compliance
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and external partners
High level of attention to detail and organizational abilities
