Robert Half is partnering with our client to identify a talented Senior Accountant. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting accurate reporting. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to critical accounting processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibility:

Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheets
Track capital expenditures and manage fixed asset accounting processes
Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards
Collaborate with various departments to maintain accurate and timely financial reporting
Review and enhance accounting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy and completeness
Assist with audits, including financial statement audits, tax compliance, and lender audits
Participate in special projects aimed at improving accounting processes and systems

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience with strong attention to detail
Public accounting or technical accounting experience preferred
Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in enterprise accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent analytical and organizational abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

CPA certification or progress toward CPA is highly desirable
Experience supporting audits and contributing to financial reporting processes
