We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Richardson, Texas. This role involves managing complex financial processes, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and driving efficiency in accounting operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to solving financial challenges.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, delivering clear insights into organizational performance
Process and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and proper documentation
Perform monthly allocations for branches and validate intercompany transactions to maintain balanced reporting
Conduct comprehensive reconciliations of balance sheets and income statements, identifying and resolving variances
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management and branch teams, to provide clarity on financial results
Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Identify discrepancies and inefficiencies in financial processes, proposing and implementing effective solutions
Support audit preparation and address auditor inquiries to ensure compliance and accurate reporting
Contribute to the enhancement of systems and processes, including automation initiatives, to improve overall efficiency

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related roles
Proficiency in month-end closing processes and general ledger management
Strong expertise in journal entries and account reconciliations
Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting
Ability to analyze financial data and deliver actionable insights
Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in dynamic environments

Nice to have:

Familiarity with process automation and system improvements is a plus
