We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Seattle, Washington. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating expertise in financial management and a commitment to ethical practices.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and statutory requirements
Ensure the accuracy of ledger entries and reconcile subsidiary accounts with the general ledger
Support monthly and annual financial close processes, including drafting consolidated financial reports
Handle complex account reconciliations, including liability roll forwards and bank reconciliations
Assist in both internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and analysis
Create and review journal entries to maintain proper financial records
Identify and correct accounting errors, ensuring data integrity
Collaborate with teams to enhance financial reporting systems and processes
Provide management with detailed analyses of budgets, forecasts, cash flow, equipment rates, and other financial metrics
Promote and adhere to ethical standards and safe work practices, fostering a culture of accountability and safety

Requirements:

Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation
Expertise in account reconciliations and bank reconciliations
Familiarity with audit procedures and GAAP compliance
Prior experience in the construction industry or similar field is preferred
Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team environment
