We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. This role requires a highly organized individual who excels in financial management, reporting, and reconciliation tasks. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy of our financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are properly documented
Prepare and post journal entries with precision and adherence to accounting principles
Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies
Handle bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and banking transactions
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data integration
Monitor and implement accounting policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting operations

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on month-end close and financial reconciliation
Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry preparation
Proficiency in conducting account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Solid understanding of bank reconciliation processes and best practices
Familiarity with accounting software and tools to manage financial data effectively
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
