Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will oversee full-cycle accounting operations, working closely within a small but dynamic finance department. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is skilled at managing various accounting processes with accuracy and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Handle full-cycle accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable management
Prepare and maintain journal entries to ensure accurate financial records
Perform month-end closing activities to finalize financial statements
Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure all discrepancies are addressed
Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances and transactions
Collaborate with the Head of Finance to support strategic financial planning
Utilize Business One software for accounting operations and reporting
Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Provide insights and reports on financial performance and metrics

Requirements:

Proven experience in full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable and receivable
Proficiency in month-end close procedures and general ledger management
Strong understanding of journal entries and account reconciliation
Demonstrated expertise in bank reconciliations and financial accuracy
Familiarity with Business One or similar accounting software
Ability to work effectively within a small team and collaborate with senior finance leadership
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance
