Job Description:

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a Senior Accountant to support our manufacturing client in the south bay on a 2–3-month on-site engagement in South Bay, Los Angeles. This pivotal role entails coordinating sales integrations and meticulously examining daily financial indicators to assure their accuracy and punctual reporting.

Job Responsibility:

Analyze daily financial metrics to ensure data accuracy and provide timely reports to relevant stakeholders
Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records
Perform account reconciliations to verify the integrity and reliability of financial statements
Conduct cycle account reviews to confirm alignment between physical inventory counts and recorded data
Utilize Oracle software to carry out essential accounting functions and processes
Collaborate with team members to oversee month-end close procedures and maintain compliance with accounting standards
Review general ledger entries and resolve discrepancies to ensure proper financial reporting
Manage bank reconciliations to track and verify accuracy in cash flow records
Support sales integration activities by coordinating financial data and processes
Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines in all accounting practices

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, with demonstrated expertise in senior-level responsibilities
Proficiency in Oracle or similar ERP software to execute accounting tasks effectively
Strong knowledge of general ledger processes and month-end close procedures
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, managing large datasets, and preparing reporting leveraging formulas like V/H/X look ups, pivots, index, match, if statements, and some financial modeling
Experience with journal entry preparation and complex account reconciliations
Ability to manage bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in cash flow records
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
