We are looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our team in Belton, Missouri. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in financial processes and a keen attention to detail. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in overseeing and optimizing accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial activities.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to verify the integrity of financial data
Prepare and post journal entries to document financial transactions consistently
Conduct account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure alignment with accounting standards
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting workflows and enhance efficiency
Analyze financial data to provide insights and support decision-making processes
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and company policies
Assist with audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries
Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement
Support the implementation of best practices in accounting operations

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting with a focus on detail-oriented tasks
Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger activities
Strong knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliations
Familiarity with accounting software and tools
