Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing team in OKC, Oklahoma. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting various accounting and reporting activities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to process improvements and provide valuable financial insights to management.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and input general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards
Assist in gathering data for financial reporting and related footnotes to support organizational requirements
Participate in month-end closing activities, including financial statement preparation and reconciliations
Conduct detailed financial analysis and account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
Research and analyze accounts to prepare journal entries and provide management with essential financial information
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as variance analysis for budget-to-actual reporting
Contribute to annual audits, including financial, tax, and vendor audits, by providing necessary documentation and support

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Proficiency in month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation
Experience with financial analysis, including budgeting and forecasting
Demonstrated ability to consolidate financial statements and perform variance analysis
Familiarity with auditing processes and compliance requirements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management
