Robert Half is partnering with a dynamic and growing organization to fill their Senior Accountant position. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing accounting operations and serving as a leader within the finance team.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards
Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including complex journal entries
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, while providing insight to key stakeholders
Manage tax filings and regulatory compliance requirements
Participate in audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
Assist in the implementation and improvement of ERP systems and accounting processes
Mentor and supervise entry level accounting staff, offering guidance to ensure development and accuracy
Analyze financial data to support strategic business decisions

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including supervisory responsibilities
Proficiency with ERP systems (such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
In-depth knowledge of GAAP and regulatory frameworks
Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

CPA, MBA, or other advanced certifications
