Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Full-Time Engagement Professional (FTEP) team. In this role, you are a full-time, salaried employee of Robert Half, not a contractor — with access to comprehensive benefits, overtime pay, and performance-based bonuses. Job Responsibility:

Prepare and post complex journal entries and perform account reconciliations (cash, prepaids, payroll, etc.)
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Prepare financial statements, cash flow projections, and budgets
Perform balance sheet and income statement analysis for management reporting
Maintain fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital leases
Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX internal controls
Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations
Support ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed

Requirements:

5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience working with large ERP/accounting systems
Adaptable, consultative mindset with a willingness to learn new environments
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles, showcasing a solid understanding of key processes
Demonstrated expertise in month-end close procedures and balance sheet reconciliations
Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions for data management and analysis
Hands-on experience with large accounting systems and organizational financial tools
Strong adaptability and a consultative mindset to thrive in diverse work environments
Proven ability to learn quickly and apply skills effectively in new systems and industries
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex financial challenges
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders
