We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Loveland, Colorado. As part of this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization’s financial operations with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Job Responsibility:

Oversee and execute month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded and categorized
Prepare and post journal entries while verifying supporting documentation for accuracy
Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure financial data integrity
Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any variances promptly
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial audits and compliance efforts
Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and support budgeting processes
Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company policies in all financial activities
Assist in refining and improving accounting procedures to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements:

Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting
Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation
Proficiency in performing account and bank reconciliations with attention to detail
Familiarity with accounting standards and regulations applicable to the manufacturing industry
Advanced skills in financial analysis and the ability to interpret complex data
