We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Loveland, Colorado. Job Responsibility

  • Oversee and execute month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded and categorized
  • Prepare and post journal entries while verifying supporting documentation for accuracy
  • Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure financial data integrity
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any variances promptly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial audits and compliance efforts
  • Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and support budgeting processes
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company policies in all financial activities
  • Assist in refining and improving accounting procedures to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation
  • Proficiency in performing account and bank reconciliations with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with accounting standards and regulations applicable to the manufacturing industry
  • Advanced skills in financial analysis and the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong communication abilities to collaborate with teams and present financial findings
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools relevant to the role
