Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a rapidly growing organization in Woodland Hills, California. In this role, you will oversee key accounting operations and contribute to the financial success of a dynamic, expanding organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibility:

Support the month-end financial close process, including preparing, reviewing, and analyzing journal entries and reconciliations
Generate accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other relevant financial regulations
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and perform variance analysis to support financial planning
Support audits, working closely with external auditors to ensure accurate reporting
Develop and enhance accounting processes and internal controls to improve efficiency
Supervise and mentor accounting team members to encourage attention to detail and growth
Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to support organizational goals
Handle special projects including system enhancements, internal control development, and ad hoc financial analysis

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in accounting systems such as Oracle or Netsuite is preferred
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and financial modeling
Excellent analytical and organizational abilities with a focus on detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams

Nice to have:

CPA is a plus
Japanese language proficiency is a plus
