Robert Half is looking for a Sr. Accountant for a long-term contract opportunity. As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. We are seeking an individual with exemplary analytical skills who enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced work environment in order to support the continued success of the company. This Senior Accountant role is based in the east metro.

Job Responsibility:

Financial statement preparation and consolidation
Account analysis and reconciliations
Cash flow analysis
Budgets and forecasting
Audit preparation
Internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting
Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables primarily in the compensation area such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives
Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process

Requirements:

5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
Microsoft Excel experience
SAP or other ERP system experience
Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references
