Job Responsibility
Oversee outsourced fund accounting, investor reporting, audits, and compliance activities across a diverse portfolio of alternative investment funds
Review fund administrator deliverables, including NAV reporting, capital activity, allocations, distributions, and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Manage relationships with administrators, auditors, and external service providers while serving as a key liaison across investment, legal, client service, and operations teams
Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and identify operational risks to support a scalable and best-in-class fund operations platform
Research complex accounting matters, maintain accounting policies and procedures, and support strategic initiatives across the firm's investment operations function
Requirements
5–7+ years of experience in between public accounting, fund administration, asset management, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, or alternative investments environments
Strong understanding of partnership accounting and investment fund structures
Experience reviewing financial statements, NAV calculations, capital activity, and investor reporting
Ability to analyze complex accounting and operational issues
Strong project management and organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have
CPA designation (active or inactive) preferred but not required
