The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring that financial accounts and records are accurate and meet established standards and criteria. Their duties include analyzing financial documents, recording and verifying transactions, as well as assisting with monthly and annual financial reporting. The role will also assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role works closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights, improve financial processes, and drive business growth.
Job Responsibility:
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
General Ledger & Reconciliation: Oversee general ledger accuracy, perform complex account reconciliations, and manage bank statements
Month-End Close: Lead or assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely reporting
Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives
Develop and maintain financial models to analyze business performance, trends, and opportunities
Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support strategic planning and decision-making
Monitor and evaluate key financial and operational metrics, identifying risks and opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial visibility and efficiency
Help prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership, board meetings, and stakeholders
Improve financial processes, tools, and reporting systems for better accuracy and efficiency
Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and internal controls
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
3+ years of experience in accounting, corporate finance, or related roles
Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modelling and data analysis
Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
Strong problem-solving ability and a strategic mindset
High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Nice to have:
Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
