We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team in Bloomington, Minnesota. This role is ideal for professionals seeking to contribute their expertise in accounting while working within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and oversee the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded
Reconcile accounts and bank statements to maintain financial accuracy and integrity
Maintain and update the general ledger to support precise accounting operations
Collaborate on international accounting tasks and consolidations to meet global financial standards
Provide detailed analysis and support for financial audits and compliance requirements
Assist in developing and improving accounting processes to enhance efficiency
Generate reports and financial statements to aid in decision-making processes
Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all accounting functions
Support cross-functional teams with financial insights and expertise

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required
Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience with a strong attention to detail
Strong proficiency in month-end close, account reconciliation, and general ledger management
Excellent analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Familiarity with accounting software and tools to streamline financial operations

Nice to have:

Background in public accounting, particularly with Big 4 firms, is a plus
