Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, collaborative environment, supporting key financial processes such as month-end close, financial reporting, and intercompany accounting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a global setting, taking ownership of accounting responsibilities while working closely with internal stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and post journal entries, including those related to revenue, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and perform detailed account analyses
Assist in the preparation and review of monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
Reconcile intercompany transactions across multiple entities and resolve discrepancies to ensure timely financial close
Maintain and update fixed asset schedules, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance
Compile and analyze financial data to support internal reporting and operational decision-making
Collaborate with the Controller and other stakeholders to enhance accounting processes and address inquiries
Provide support for ad hoc reporting requests and contribute to special projects as needed
Assist in the preparation of financial analyses and operational reports to support strategic initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
A minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience with attention to detail
Proficiency in full-cycle accounting and month-end close processes
Strong knowledge of journal entries, debits/credits, and account reconciliations
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively within a team-oriented environment

Nice to have:

Familiarity with intercompany accounting practices is preferred
Experience with accounting systems such as JD Edwards or similar platforms is a plus
