We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a dynamic restaurant management team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in accounting, particularly within the food, beverage, or hospitality sectors. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and execute month-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are correctly recorded
Prepare and post journal entries with precision and attention to detail
Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies effectively
Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to maintain accurate cash flow records
Collaborate with management to analyze financial data and support decision-making
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Assist in preparing financial statements and other reports as needed
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices
Support audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the food, beverage, or hospitality industries
Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management
Proven ability to prepare accurate journal entries and reconcile accounts
Strong skills in performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Familiarity with accounting software, with experience in Restaurant365 being a plus
Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
