Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Miramar, Florida. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Your expertise will contribute to key accounting processes, including month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger management. THIS IS A FULLY IN OFFICE ROLE IN MIRAMAR.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Maintain and update the general ledger by recording financial transactions and ensuring data integrity
  • Prepare and post journal entries to document accounting activities
  • Reconcile accounts and bank statements, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly
  • Analyze financial data to assist in preparing reports for management and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on accounting procedures and policies
  • Review and monitor transactions for compliance with established accounting standards
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and implement improvements

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related roles
  • Proficiency in month-end close procedures and general ledger management
  • Strong skills in preparing and posting journal entries
  • Experience with account and bank reconciliations
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting IS A MUST!
