Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records across global entities, providing insightful analysis, and supporting key business decisions. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and has a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain accurate financial records by verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions for multiple global entities
  • Reconcile and balance subsidiary accounts, ensuring discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner
  • Prepare and book accounting entries, contributing to the creation and review of financial statements
  • Analyze quarterly financial results, identifying variances from prior year data and budget projections
  • Oversee hedging activity tracking, including interest rates, foreign exchange, and commodities, while managing related accounting implications
  • Support cash flow forecasting and cash management efforts to ensure financial stability
  • Collaborate with foreign third-party service providers, including accountants, auditors, and legal advisors, for accurate financial inputs
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives to enhance the organization's financial processes
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance
  • Compile necessary documentation for year-end audits, annual tax filings, and other financial reviews

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally combining public accounting and private sector exposure
  • Proficiency in managing multi-currency, multi-country financial environments
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Familiarity with NetSuite (Oracle) or similar accounting software is highly preferred
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced and flexible work settings
  • Attention to detail and a strong aptitude for numbers
