Job Responsibility
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Analyze and account for complex transactions including revenue recognition, acquisitions, leases, stock compensation, debt arrangements, and other technical accounting matters
Research accounting guidance and prepare technical accounting memos supporting key business transactions
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Collaborate cross-functionally with operational and business leaders to understand and evaluate accounting implications of strategic initiatives
Support external audits and coordinate with auditors to facilitate efficient reviews
Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and enhance accounting efficiencies
Assist with implementation of new accounting standards and evolving reporting requirements
Perform account reconciliations and financial statement analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of accounting experience
Public accounting experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Experience working with complex accounting topics such as ASC 606, ASC 842, business combinations, equity accounting, or other technical accounting areas
Ability to research accounting guidance and clearly document conclusions
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical accounting concepts to non-financial stakeholders
