Robert Half is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Northern Colorado to identify a detail-oriented Senior Accountant. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong accounting experience who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment. The Senior Accountant will manage full-cycle accounting for the company’s manufacturing operations. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, independence, and the ability to work directly with management to provide financial insights.

Job Responsibility:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end close
Maintain and track fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation schedules, and disposals
Monitor and manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reporting
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals as needed
Implement and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies
Provide actionable financial insights to management
Track inventory and production costs accurately to support operational decision-making
Assist in improving systems and processes as the company grows

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required
4+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong experience in fixed assets, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
ERP experience a plus
Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable in a hands-on, onsite, operational environment

Nice to have:

Experience in manufacturing, production, or distribution industries preferred
