We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing accounting operations and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in public audit or tax, preferably from a top 10 firm, and a solid understanding of general accounting practices.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Manage and maintain the integrity of the general ledger system
Prepare and post journal entries with precision and compliance
Reconcile accounts with attention to detail to ensure accuracy
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively
Collaborate with internal teams to review and analyze financial data
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and insights
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting procedures
Stay informed about partnership structures and provide relevant accounting support
Requirements:
Minimum of one year of experience in public audit or tax, preferably with a top 10 firm
Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger systems
Strong ability to prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations
Familiarity with bank reconciliations and resolving related discrepancies
Knowledge of partnership structures is highly desirable
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Commitment to adhering to accounting standards and regulations
