Job Description:

This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to manage critical accounting functions, including fixed asset oversight, intercompany accounting, and audit preparation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting month-end close processes.

Job Responsibility:

Manage fixed asset accounting processes, including inventory tracking and reconciliation
Oversee intercompany transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts
Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and general ledger adjustments
Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
Collaborate with audit teams to provide necessary documentation and support
Ensure the integrity of financial data through detailed account analyses
Assist with the consolidation of financial data using relevant systems
Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting operations
Maintain adherence to established accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

Extensive experience with month-end close procedures and processes
Proficiency in managing general ledger and preparing journal entries
Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting and inventory management
Demonstrated ability to perform accurate account and bank reconciliations
Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and financial analysis
Familiarity with intercompany accounting and consolidation practices
Ability to work collaboratively with audit teams and internal stakeholders
Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance
