Senior Accountant

• Manage the general ledger, including preparation and reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Oversee compliance with GAAP accounting principles and ensure all financial reporting meets regulatory standards
• Conduct regular asset inventory reviews and maintain accurate records of company assets
• Prepare financial statements and reports, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, supplying necessary documentation and explanations
• Analyze financial discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve processes
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing detailed financial analysis
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Monitor and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in senior positions
• Strong proficiency in general ledger management and GAAP accounting principles
• Demonstrated expertise in asset inventory management and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA designation is preferred
