Job Description:

A growing organization is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to support month‑end close, financial reporting, and day‑to‑day accounting operations across multiple business units. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working cross‑functionally, and has experience managing financials for multi‑location or multi‑entity structures.

Job Responsibility:

Lead month‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis
Prepare and maintain financial statements for multiple units/entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency across locations
Support consolidation processes and assist with intercompany transactions
Analyze trends, P& L performance, and balance sheet activity across business units
identify risks and opportunities
Maintain the general ledger and ensure adherence to GAAP
Assist with budgeting and forecasting by providing unit‑level financial insights
Partner with operations and leadership to explain financial results and answer entity‑specific questions
Support external audits through preparation of schedules, documentation, and reconciliations
Drive process improvements to streamline accounting workflows across units
Participate in special projects, system enhancements, and scaling initiatives as the company grows

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA‑eligible preferred but not required)
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a multi‑unit, multi‑entity, or decentralized environment
Strong understanding of GAAP and month‑end close processes
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Advanced Excel skills
comfort with large data sets and complex reconciliations
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced setting
