A well-established, growth-focused manufacturing organization in the Twin Cities Metro is expanding and investing in its future — and we’re looking for a talented Senior Accountant to grow with us. With multiple strategic initiatives underway, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a company that values operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This is more than a traditional accounting role. You’ll be a key business partner, supporting operations and leadership with timely, accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis that drives smart decision-making.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets — from acquisition through disposal
Ensure capital expenditures align with company policy and GAAP
Maintain accurate records, reconciliations, and reporting
Partner with operations to track capital spending and support strategic investments
Own the end-to-end AR process, including invoicing, cash application, and reconciliations
Monitor aging, resolve issues proactively, and provide clear reporting to leadership
Collaborate with sales, operations, and customers to strengthen processes and cash flow
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Play an active role in monthly and year-end close
Support financial statement preparation, audits, and tax filings
Identify and implement process improvements as the organization continues to scale

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong Excel and systems proficiency
Detail-oriented mindset with critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Self-starter who thrives with ownership and accountability

Nice to have:

CPA (or progress toward CPA)
Manufacturing experience
