Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will lead core close activities, strengthen financial controls, and support accurate reporting across the organization. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional partners, contribute to audit readiness, and help improve accounting operations through thoughtful process enhancements.

Job Responsibility:

Lead monthly closing activities by preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure timely and accurate financial results
Provide day-to-day direction and mentorship to accounting team members while promoting strong execution and career growth
Maintain and enhance accounting procedures, documentation, and internal controls to support compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
Work closely with operational and field-based partners to confirm proper accounting treatment and resolve transaction-related questions
Analyze existing workflows and recommend process improvements that increase accuracy, consistency, and efficiency within the finance function
Prepare audit support materials for quarterly and annual reviews and respond to requests from internal and external auditors
Partner with departments across the business to address accounting issues and support broader organizational objectives
Oversee assigned accounting areas and contribute to special projects or additional finance initiatives as business needs evolve

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
At least 3 years of accounting experience, with 3-5 years of progressive experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of month-end close, general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Experience performing bank reconciliations and supporting accurate financial reporting
Solid understanding of general accounting principles and audit support practices
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Word, Access, and accounting systems
Effective written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Nice to have:

Experience with Oracle Fusion is preferred
