Job Description:

A manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Accountant with hands-on Epicor experience to support core accounting operations. This role is highly involved in day-to-day accounting and will work closely with operations to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This role is ideal for a well-rounded accountant who enjoys working close to the business and taking ownership across accounting operations.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and maintain general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Support month-end close and manufacturing cost accounting processes
Assist with payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
Leverage Epicor to analyze transactional data and ensure data integrity
Develop and maintain Excel-based reports, reconciliations, and analyses

Requirements:

Senior-level accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
Epicor ERP experience strongly preferred
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
Detail-oriented, hands-on professional comfortable supporting multiple accounting functions
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related roles
Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance
Advanced knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliations
Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and formulas
Familiarity with Epicor or similar ERP systems
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
