Senior Accountant

• Record and reconcile payroll journal entries, including benefits, stock compensation, sales commissions, and payroll taxes, across multiple business units
• Collaborate with third-party payroll providers to enhance reporting accuracy and streamline accrual processes
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including tracking capital expenditures, amortization schedules
• Perform high-volume bank reconciliations
• Ensure accurate general ledger postings and reconciliation of service bank activities
• Track and amortize prepaid expenses
• Coordinate property tax filings and payments across numerous locations, working with third-party vendors
• Support financial audits by ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Optimize month-end close processes, driving efficiency in balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
• Partner with field teams to monitor and manage capital expenditure budgets

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in general ledger accounting within a multi-entity environment
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to communicate findings effectively
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
