Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a part-time, temp-to-hire basis. This role supports the CFO and plays a key role in managing high-volume financial data, preparing journal entries, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Excel, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating across different levels of the organization.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and post journal entries
Manage and analyze large volumes of financial data with a high level of accuracy
Utilize advanced Excel functions (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs) to support reporting and analysis
Assist with month-end and ongoing accounting processes
Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across departments
Maintain a positive, professional attitude while managing multiple priorities

Requirements:

Senior-level accounting experience
Advanced Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
Grant or fund accounting experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to engage and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels and across diverse personalities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high data volume
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
