Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Naples, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and manage month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all entries are up-to-date and accurate
Create and review journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Reconcile accounts and ensure all discrepancies are promptly resolved
Conduct bank reconciliations to verify transaction accuracy and maintain financial integrity
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes
Assist in audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries
Develop and maintain accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Monitor financial activities to ensure alignment with company policies and regulations
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting processes

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounting, specifically in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance
Strong knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation procedures
Proficiency in accounting software and tools
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and other departments
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
