Job Description:

Our client, a rapidly growing music company, is looking for a Senior Accountant to bring financial excellence to their high-energy, creative environment. In this position you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy and integrity as the company continues to scale. Your expertise will support strategic decisions and keep operations running in rhythm.

Job Responsibility:

Leading and owning the month-end close process with precision and confidence
Preparing and reviewing journal entries across a wide range of accounts—accruals, prepaids, intercompany transactions, and more
Performing complex account reconciliations and diving deep into discrepancies to keep ledgers clean
Collaborating cross-functionally to gather and analyze financial data, helping to constantly improve processes and drive innovation
Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and accounting policies

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
3+ years of experience
Start-up experience a plus
CPA preferred
Strong MS Excel proficiency
