Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to make an impact at a dynamic organization? Our team in San Diego, CA is seeking a Senior Accountant who excels in fast-paced environments and is ready to drive financial integrity and support business growth.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting
Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger activities
Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline accounting procedures and maintain robust internal controls
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide informed business decisions
Support external audits and ensure timely compliance with all regulatory requirements
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of relevant accounting experience
public accounting background a plus
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and expertise in accounting software (Microsoft D365, Oracle NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Workday)
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and payroll management
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to thrive when priorities shift and deadlines approach

Nice to have:

Experience with PowerBI, SQL, or Python for reporting and data analysis
CPA license or candidacy highly valued
