Job Description:

ProNexus is looking for experienced accounting professionals who can provide specialized expertise and support to our clients. This role involves managing complex accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance. Senior Accountants will collaborate with management teams to optimize accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and drive financial performance.

Job Responsibility:

Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements
Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess performance, identify trends, and provide insights to management
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Month-end and Year-end Close Processes: Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
Ensure timely and accurate completion of close activities
Review and analyze financial data to identify variances and discrepancies
Internal Controls and Compliance: Establish and maintain internal control procedures
Conduct periodic reviews and audits to assess compliance
Financial Systems and Process Improvement: Evaluate existing accounting processes, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement
Implement process enhancements, automation initiatives, and best practices
Provide training and guidance to finance teams
Budgeting and Forecasting Support: Assist in the development and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
Provide support for budgeting and forecasting processes
Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions
Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Management: Communicate financial results, analysis, and recommendations effectively to executive management and stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Master's degree or CPA preferred
Minimum 5+ years of experience* in accounting or finance roles preferably in a consulting or professional services environment
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems (ERP systems, Excel, etc.), with experience in system implementations preferred
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment
Experience in a customer service role / client facing, public accounting, consulting or advisory roles is advantageous

Nice to have:
