This role blends accounting, reporting, cash oversight, and coordination with external advisors across investment, tax, estate, and real estate matters. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and the discretion needed to manage highly sensitive financial information in a fast-moving environment.
Job Responsibility:
Manage documentation and ongoing updates for financial arrangements, including lending, leasing, and investment-related agreements
Maintain organized records for investment activity, insurance matters, tax documentation, and estate planning materials
Prepare quarterly financial reporting packages and identify opportunities to improve clarity, accuracy, and presentation
Support bill payment activities for family members while ensuring timely and accurate processing
Coordinate the administration and tracking of charitable contributions and related records
Partner with tax professionals and legal advisors on tax filings, gift tax matters, and estate planning initiatives
Monitor liquidity, assist with cash planning, and develop short- and longer-term cash flow projections
Oversee compliance documentation, liaise with outside investment managers, and support due diligence on prospective investments
Coordinate financial aspects of real estate acquisitions and dispositions, including documentation and transaction follow-through
Handle special analyses and ad hoc projects while safeguarding confidential financial information at all times
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Experience with month-end close, general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Working knowledge of bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, cash management, and cash flow forecasting
Familiarity with tax-related processes, including support for estate or gift tax matters, is strongly preferred
Strong Excel skills required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across different stakeholder groups
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong analytical thinking, organization, and attention to detail
