Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will oversee critical accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial activities across multiple operational areas. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment while driving process improvements and supporting business growth.

Job Responsibility:

Manage month-end close procedures, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for diverse operations
Ensure accurate accounting for fuel inventory, convenience store sales, franchise royalties, and vendor payments across multiple entities
Oversee compliance with sales tax, fuel tax, and other regulatory filings across various states
Assist in developing budgets and forecasts, providing detailed variance analysis to management
Prepare audit schedules and respond to external audit inquiries to ensure a smooth audit process
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability during periods of expansion

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial statement preparation and reconciliation
Proficiency in managing month-end close processes, including journal entries and general ledger oversight
Strong knowledge of sales tax, fuel tax, and other regulatory compliance requirements
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and conducting financial analysis
Proven ability to handle multi-entity accounting operations across diverse industries
Familiarity with business process improvement initiatives to support growth and efficiency
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
