Job Description:

A prestigious professional services firm in the Baltimore area is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its team. Responsibilities include managing monthly close, financial reporting, and oversight of accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and collaborating with firm leadership. Job Responsibility:

Manage monthly close, financial reporting, and oversight of accounting operations
Lead monthly close processes and dive deep into financial reporting
Ensure compliance with financial regulations
Collaborate with firm leadership on monthly responsibilities and deadlines

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related
4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in professional services firm (i.e. law firm, engineering firm, public accounting firm, somewhere with billable hours)
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
Experience with a large ERP system
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas
