We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is ideal for someone with a keen attention to detail and a strong background in financial processes, including month-end close, reconciliations, and fixed assets management. Job Responsibility:

Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly
Prepare and post journal entries to support financial operations
Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Oversee bank reconciliations and identify variances for resolution
Monitor and manage fixed assets, including tracking and reporting depreciation
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related reports
Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and workflows
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis
Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and create reports

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management
Strong skills in preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations
Familiarity with fixed asset accounting and depreciation tracking
Advanced Excel capabilities, including formulas and data analysis
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
