Job Responsibility:

Posting vendor invoices
Posting bank statements, preparing bank transfers
Managing petty cash
Maintaining the analytical records of fixed assets and posting them to the general ledger
Other general ledger and analytical accounting tasks
Checking the consistency between subledgers and the general ledger, identifying discrepancies
Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual tax returns
Active participation in monthly/quarterly/annual closings
Preparing reports for the Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ)
Active support during interim and year-end audits
Reconciliation of intercompany balances
Reconciliation of vendor and customer balances
Active participation in the preparation of the annual financial statements

Requirements:

University degree in Economics field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting
Confident, up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and accounting standards
Language skills: Fluent in English and Czech, with strong verbal and written communication abilities
Practical knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
Experience with the SAP ERP system is advantage
Accuracy and attention to detail
Team-player personality
